The Himalayan Policy Research (HPR) listserv regularly announces information about its annual conferences, e-archive, e-journals, and other scholarly activities. The mission of this group is to create a platform to facilitate interactions among scholars with interest on the policy research issues as they relate to the Himalayan region and the countries in South Asia. Policy research issues are broadly defined to include, but not limited to, poverty, health, environment, global climate, bio-diversity, outsourcing, education, trade, economic integration, sustainable development, natural resources, govervance, democracy, conflict, inequality, and gender and ethnicity.
