A Himalayan focus on development, democracy, conflict, & the environment
A South Asian Perspective


The Nepal Study Center at the University of New Mexico is dedicated to fostering intellectual collaboration and sharing knowledge with a dedicated focus and wider perspective on the socio-economic and political issues of the Himalayan region and the countries in South Asia. Areas of focus are given below, and are described in details in the objective section.
